STUPID THING I'VE HEARD (Not stupidest though):

"How do you get gold in this game?" - in Yak's Bend.
ITS NOT ALL OF IT!!!

When the second sentence comes, itll make much more sense

"Chuck Norris's tears cure cancer, too bad he never cries"

Maybe he was farming points. It'd explain why he thought everyone else would.

I know I was this weekend. Finally maxed Asura.

Now, I know that a r/me has some nice options and maybe it could work the other way around as well, but not as a beast master.
I used a Mesmer beast master once. >__o;;
On the EotN quest "Practice, Dummy."
Because it was cheaper to get a pet then to get a new skillbar. :/
Backfire and Empathy have no power against the practice dummies. xD

As for a funniest moment.
I went into FA on the Luxon side yesterday.
And ended up facing 6 Defy pain Whammos and 2 monks.
Lost. So hard. :/

Just now in the Astralarium:

Amid all the people trying to flog skale fins for 500g, one lone voice says (in trade)

"wtb guild (Party Search)"

Honestly.

You would be surprised at how many people still run in on their bars.

Guildwars needs 7 heroes...
It's not broken, everyone can use it...
The damned PVP players abusing skills got Ursan nerfed...

One of the funniest/stupidest things I've heard was a couple years ago in a PuG. Our Healer monk was standing there, looking at the party who were all taking dirt naps at the time. Someone asked why he wasn't resurrecting anyone and he replied, "I'm a (expletive) monk. I don't resurrect!"

That's not actually quite as stupid as it first sounds. Quite a few monks don't carry res skills, as ressing in the middle of a battel can be the death of the PuG. They often expect other players to carry them so they can focus on keeping everyone else alive.

On the other hand, it's probably also a good idea to make sure that the rest of the PuG knows that this is the plan. Not all players are aware of the strategy (thinking newer players or those that don't read the wiki) and a team which leaves the ressing to the monk while the monk expects others to do it - and in which no one checks who brings the res is a pretty daft team indeed. As a mainly monk player myself, I'd always check who the PuG expects to res.

/textwall. Sorry.

Someone told me the government actually admitted the moon landings were faked, and after investigating, I believe they were actually serious.
